The world’s longest-imprisoned journalist remains virtually unknown and strangely invisible

By now, broad awareness should exist of the horrendous crimes committed by the Eritrean regime against Swedish-Eritrean journalist Dawit Isaak. Instead, the man who is one of the longest-imprisoned journalists in the world remains virtually unknown and strangely invisible, both at home and abroad. The same is true for his fellow imprisoned journalists and thousands of other Eritreans.
This needs to change.
It is time to hold Eritrean officials accountable for their crimes.
The Eritrean government needs to
establish Dawit Isaak's current location and physical condition.
provide consular access to Mr. Isaak and grant him proper medical care
affect Mr. Isaak’s immediate release and a resolution of his case
